Summer Saturdays at Grange Park, Kilburn: Pebble & Star Collective’s Massage & Reflexology Gazebo

The last six weeks at Kilburn Grange Park have been wonderful for me, both professionally and personally.

Our Pebble & Star Collective gazebo certainly made its presence felt in Kilburn, London! Having our own space allowed us to bring massage and reflexology right into the heart of the community.

A real highlight was being joined by Marie-Noelle. Together we could offer more treatments

and see more people. We loved seeing people visibly relax, hearing their feedback and receiving some lovely five-star Google reviews. The Saturdays also gave people waiting for our community treatments at the Abbey Community Centre and West Hampstead Women’s Centre another opportunity to see us.

And not all our clients were human, we even gave the occasional dog massage!

Supporting KOVE

We were delighted to support Kilburn Older Voices Exchange (KOVE) and its work to help keep the public toilets in Kilburn Grange Park open, an important facility for everyone using the park.

The market itself had a wonderful community spirit. Stallholders helped each other with gazebos, bought from one another and shared plenty of laughs. Add magnificent weather, music, entertainment, Pilates and bubbles, and Grange Park was a pretty good place to spend a Saturday!

A word from Marie-Noelle

“These Saturdays have been a really lovely experience. I’ve enjoyed meeting so many different people and seeing the change after a treatment, someone might arrive tired, stressed or carrying tension and leave looking more relaxed and telling us how much better they feel.

I’ve also loved the conversations. Every person brings their own story. I’m very grateful to have been part of Pebble & Star Collective’s massage experience in Kilburn and hope we’ll have the opportunity to return to the park again.”

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the experience and am very grateful to Michael, Rosana and everyone who made the market happen, as well as our fellow stallholders and everyone who stopped by, supported us, tried a treatment or came back for another one.

These six Saturdays have shown us just how much appetite there is for accessible massage and reflexology in the local community.

Thank you, Grange Park. It’s been a magnificent summer and we hope to be back.
