Serving Our Community: Wellness Thursdays at Kilburn Grange Park

At Pebble & Star Collective, serving our local community is one of our core values. We believe that access to professional massage, reflexology and complementary therapies shouldn't be limited to those who can easily access or afford them. That's why we're delighted to be taking part in Wellness Thursdays at The PlayHut, Kilburn Grange Park, alongside Kilburn State of Mind (KSOM). Thanks to a £1,000 grant from Brent Love Where You Live (LWYL), we're able to bring affordable massage, reflexology and Buteyko breathing sessions into the heart of the local community, by offering subsidised massage and reflexology appointments for just £10, with each 20-minute treatment having a £20 value.

Buteyko breathing sessions

The programme also includes group Buteyko breathing sessions, taking place from 1:00pm to 1:30pm. These guided sessions are open to adults aged 18+ and are designed to introduce participants to Buteyko breathing techniques in a friendly, accessible group setting. Sessions are £5 suggested donation, with the £20 session cost funded through the LWYL grant. No previous experience is needed, making the sessions accessible to anyone interested in learning more about their breathing and taking part in something positive within the community.

The programme runs across 15 funded Thursdays, from 17 September 2026 to 14 January 2027, with breaks around Christmas and New Year.

Programme dates

The funded sessions take place on:

• 17 September 2026

• 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 October 2026

• 5, 12, 19 and 26 November 2026

• 3, 10 and 17 December 2026

• 7 and 14 January 2027

There are no sessions on 24 or 31 December.

Why community matters to Pebble & Star Collective

Our connection with the local community has always been important to us. Over the years, we've had the opportunity to meet people through local events, community centres and initiatives such as Grange Park Summer Saturdays, as well as Queen's Park Day.

Wellness Thursdays builds on that work. Taking our massage and reflexology services out into the community gives us the chance to meet people who may never have visited a treatment room, while also making our services more accessible to those living locally.

It's another way for us to put our values into practice. We're proud to be part of this project and grateful to Brent Love Where You Live and Kilburn State of Mind for making it possible.
